Episode Two - “Elections” It is time to elect a new student council, including a new President. Amelia, Claudia, Rachel and Shannah each run for the position of President of the Student Council, hilarity ensues as the campaign season quickly turns into a heated disaster.
Episode Three - “Ascension! Claudia tries to get various characters to join the Ancestral Study Group, with mixed results. In another part of the school Amelia attempts to get the adventurer club to go on an actual adventure.
Episode Four - “ASL vs Shannah Karimi!” When Shannah Tabassum Karimi arrives wearing a non-traditional uniform the Anti-Sex League lodges a formal complaint with the student council instructing them to enforce the school's dress code. A lengthy “court” battle ensues with accusations being flung by both sides, it ends when Shannah convinces Rachel Berry and several others to wear a copy of the uniform during an impromptu “cultural festival”.
Episode Five - “Gracie vs the Chess Club” After constantly being hustled by Gracie the school's chess club convince Alasse to go up against Gracie. A fierce chess match ensues with people betting on the outcome (organised by Arnold Estelman [who takes half the pot]), after several tense moments Gracie emerges victorious and is rewarded with a comically large pizza.
Episode Six - “Quest for food!” Gracie, Shannah, Rachel and by extension Quinn each try and find out why Amelia keeps pestering people for food when she should have her own lunch money, after falling into several embarrassing incidents they eventually find out that Amelia spends a majority of her money on experiments for the various science clubs of the school. They track her supplier down to be- Arnold Estelman and the black market!
Episode Seven - “Sportsday! It’s sports day at Adventurer High! Gracie, Quinn, Claudia, Shannah and Arnold all compete against the senior year students and Rugby 1st XV Captain Ellie Cambuel in a contest to win the coveted Sportsday trophy. Episode Eight - “Chaos in the lab!” Amelia is in the middle of testing a bunch of equipment she purchased from Arnold Estelman when a power distribution causes the machine to malfunction mid-test. It is up Claudia, Arnold, Gracie and Sahaeli to find out where Amelia has gone to since the accident, and how to turn her visible again. Gracie is able to use her scrounging skills to obtain a PKE Meter and a Neutrino Scanning Device, but will it be enough?
Episode Nine - “Trade War” As it comes time for the myriad clubs to cover holes in their budgets, many start launching campaigns to sell various foods and treats. Arnold and his assistant Anita see the challenge to their trade empire and must react! Also, Gracie tries to host a very silly car wash, with silly results.
Episode Ten - “Quinn vs the Black Market” Quinn finally tires of the antics and rule skirting of Arnold and Anita’s black market and attempts to shut them down. A tense, secretive battle behind closed doors begins, but ends when Arnold “accidentally” drops a picture he has of Quinn fainting after seeing Rachel in Al’ Meriatt dress (picture taken during episode four).
Episode Eleven - “Battle of the Bands” When the school announces a musical talent contest - the winner of which will receive a cash prize, the students are quick to form teams and strategies to win. *characters try a strategy*, while *other characters try another strategy* When their attempts to synthesise a scientifically perfect song fail, Amelia, Sahaeli and Claudia attempt to recruit the musically talented Ellie Cambuel to their band. Her terms, however, are to double down on the Sports Day contest and beat her in a number of physical challenges. Despite seeming impossible, the trio try and successively fail - only for Ellie to join them anyway, having tested their resolve and whether they were willing to tax their bodies as well as their minds to win. Under the senior's direction and with her string accompaniment, the three friends manage to beat out the competition and win the cash prize to invest in the science clubs. The episode is also noted for being a musical - despite Amelia’s absolute refusal to accept or get involved in the absurdity of the musical numbers.
Episode Twelve - “Food Fight!” When the school announces the upcoming food festival/competition all of the major characters immediately split into teams and start plotting victory while Sahaeli is chosen as the star judge.
  • Amelia, Claudia, Runa and Gracie form the first team of the episode. Claudia is initially quite serious about cooking but eventually joins Amelia in trying to add “experimental” flavours and techniques to the dish in order to gain victory. Gracie on the other hand attempts to put several hot spices into the dishes out of an ill-advised expression of her love of spicy food, and several characters are seen with comically red faces after eating at the stall. During the contest, Runa constantly tries to flirt with Amelia but her attempts are completely ignored by Amelia who remains completely oblivious to any and all flirting. Gracie also tries to twirl a sign to attract customers, but ends up causing a fair bit of trouble with it as she accidentally knocks out a dozen students with the sign.
  • Rachel, Quinn, Arnold and Anita make up the second team. As everyone involved is quite competitive they initially do quite well in the contest. Arnold provides incredibly high class ingredients, something Quinn initially protests but accepts in an attempt to win. In the final few moments Anita convinces Rachel to dress-up in an attempt to attract more customers but this just causes the star chef (Quinn) to pass out again from blood loss. In addition, the food they manage to make is so bad due to just throwing expensive things in a pot, it causes all of their customers to pass out, meaning they are unable to get votes.
  • Atoti, Shannah, Sun Down and Ellie make up the final team. It initially goes quite well for the team, and the betting outfit begins to predict that they will win the overall contest. Atoti however is a persistent flirt and is eventually beaten up in a coordinated assault by Shannah, Sun Down and Ellie.

At the end of the contest, it is revealed that none of the teams containing major characters have won the competition.

Season Two

Episode Number/Name Description
Episode One - “Return" All of the characters struggle to get back into the school spirit and cause chaos around the school. Amelia looks like she has not slept since season one and is constantly fighting a battle against sleep, Quinn is even more tense after attending an ASL summer camp and Claudia keeps on trying to show people pictures from her time visiting the ancestral study headquarters in Epping. Gracie meanwhile, is attempting to overturn the suspension sentence incurred due to the unfortunate sign twirling incident so as to get back into the school, and inadvertently drinks an entire gallon of espresso. Arnold takes the return well, his black market stock somehow having grown even more insane, including actual plutonium now, and Shannah begins implementing her plan to remove the student council roadblocks to victory.
Episode Two - “Another Lowwe?” Amelia Lowwe surprises everyone when she announces that her younger sister is going to be attending the school, but after several hours nobody has managed to talk or even see the elusive student (despite frantic and chaotic searching by some characters). At the end of the episode Gracie shocks everyone when she casually spots Emily taking photographs of the school rugby team. Hilarity ensues when Gracie, in fine anime tradition, mistakes her for a pervert and accidentally instigates a situation.
Episode Three - “Fighting Robuts” When Adventurer High decides to host a Robotics Ball Tournament sponsored by the Robotics Club, hilarity ensues as Gracie begins to whip up a robotics team using the Lowwe Sisters, Shannah, and Runa to beat the rivals, chaired by Arnold, Claudia, Ellie, Sahaeli and Atoti. However, Gracie soon learns that combining characters with such differing personalities with what may possibly be milspec Dornalian robotics may not be a good idea, as Runa mistakenly has the team build a jousting robot which ends up smashing the goal line and a team of men in black suits with sunglasses visits the school...

On the other hand, Arnold’s refined plutonium stock comes in handy with interesting results requiring a new gymnasium by episodes end.

Episode Four - “Body Swap?” When Gracie interrupts Amelia during a routine test of some new equipment purchased from the black market the duo find that they’ve somehow swapped bodies! Hilarity ensues as other characters get swapped around in an attempt to “fix” the original situation
  • Amelia and Gracie are the first to swap. Amelia struggles to get used to the new body and struggles to get used to her new found strength comically breaking stuff all around the school. Meanwhile, Gracie finds herself constantly sleep deprived, and napping in inappropriate places.
  • Quinn and Anita accidentally switch after getting into an argument over the activities of the black market.
  • Shannah and Ellie are the second couple to switch. Shannah has to cope with the activities of the rugby team and being photographed constantly by Emily Lowwe while Ellie is bombarded with questions from the War Games and National Building Club and learns about Shannah’s plots to take over the Student Council
  • Runa and Rachel are the last couple to switch, much to the chagrin of Quinn. Runa immediately runs off and causes chaos around the school as she starts using her considerable power for her own needs. Other students however comment on how strange it is to see Anita and Runa acting so close when they’ve never been seen talking to each other before.
  • Arnold goes on his planned date to the local amusement park with “Anita” before learning about the body switch. He kisses “Anita” but doesn’t get the expected reaction…
  • Shannah is mostly background, but when we see her (flashbacks, encouraging “Rachel” to change rules, etc.) she seems to be influencing the characters towards certain things.
Episode Five - “Adventurer High Musical” Ellie Cambuel is knocked unconscious during a rugby game and “wakes” to find herself in a musical version of the high school. Ellie is initially unaware that she is in a “dream world” as she travels around taking part in various singing sequences but is eventually tipped off when she notices Amelia Lowwe willingly taking part in one of the songs. At the end of the episode, Ellie wakes to find Emily Lowwe being held back by the entire rugby team who are trying to prevent her from beating up the opposing player that tackled Ellie and caused the injury. Gracie meanwhile can be seen instigating random gospel choir-influenced numbers.
Episode Six - “Battle of the Bands 2!” In order to boost morale within the student population Rachel Berry decides to hold a “battle of the bands”, with the prize being ?. Out of the main characters Ellie, Shannah, Gracie (who sources the instruments) and Anita decide to make a band and hilarity ensues as the gang try and practice without being interrupted by friends. At the last practice Anita is accidentally injured and the band looks prime to fail, but at the last moment Amelia arrives carrying a badass guitar and saves the day.
Episode Seven - “The Crossover Special” The Adventurer High community gets a lot more interesting when Dr. Francesca Magnus, Juanita Delgado Hinojosa and Lyudmila Sergeyeva Orlova of “The Juanita and Lyudmila Show” appear on campus due to a teleporter experiment conducted by Dr. Magnus. While Dr. Magnus attempts to enlist Claudia, Amelia and Sahaeli in an attempt to fix her broken teleporter, Lyudmila tries to score some pizza from Gracie due to the munchies (whilst commenting on how forced the whole scenario seems, like “one of those cashgrab crossovers, mang”) and Juanita is trying to come to grips with the zaniness of the place when she inadvertedly escalates the war between Anita, Shannah and Quinn all while accidentally crossing Emily Lowwe who thinks Juanita is here to hurt Ellie Cambuel.
Episode Eight - “Partners Day Special” It is Partners Day at Adventurer High! All across the school students start to give/receive romantic gifts
  • Amelia is immediately reluctant to celebrate the holiday and initially plans to spend the entire day (and night) cooped up inside her lab calibrating and cleaning her equipment. After much prodding however she is eventually convinced to spend the day outside with Claudia and Sahaeli, hilarity ensues as throughout the night the trio accidentally perform stereotypical date tropes such as feeding each other food and paying for various items.
  • Emily is quite obsessed about the holiday (and has been seen counting down the days in previous episodes) but is extremely hesitant to ask her crush Ellie out on a date and bails out in comical fashion several times. In reply, Gracie befriends Emily and decides to become her “relationship coach,” in order to help her become better at asking Ellie out on a date. However, as most of Gracie’s advice seems to consist of half-remembered lines from various romantic comedies, hilarity ensues.
  • Rachel is also quite surprisingly opposed to the day (despite positively mentioning it in previous episodes) since she is feeling il (although she is actually feigning the sickness to get closer to Quinn). In an attempt to cheer her up Quinn uses her cooking talents and makes her an extremely extravagant meal.
  • Atoti spends the majority of the day attempting to flirt with every female member of the school, and is repeatedly shot down for his efforts in comical fashion. At the end of the day however he manages to spend some quality time with Runa and the pair enjoy some traditional Imerian food in the local park.
  • Arnold and Anita spend the day together, attempting to get some private time to celebrate their relationship, but the hijinks of every other group keep interrupting them, ending with Arnold being forced to open the Market to provide ingredients for Quinn.
  • Shannah is once again in the background, but can be seen to be spreading discontent over Rachel not putting in the effort on a holiday cherished by the students...
Episode Nine - “Pool Day!” In an attempt to get the school to re-start its swimming team Ellie Cambuel tries to organise all of the main characters to start cleaning the school's old swimming pool. Quinn is initially against the idea and contemplates getting the ASL involved to block the move, however after suffering another nose bleed she surprises everyone by heavily supporting the idea.

Instead of helping clean the pool a majority of the characters start lounging around or messing around with the equipment. Emily spends a majority of her time taking photographs, Gracie keeps commenting about “fanservice” while eating popcorn, Quinn spends the time cleaning her near constant nosebleeds while Rachel acts as a nurse and Amelia and Claudia are seen in the corner building a strange robot they claim will clean the pool automatically.

After several minutes of chaos Ellie finally snaps and storms out of the pool claiming that the project is over. Shocked by her sudden departure the remaining characters finally stop fooling around and in a suitable montage finish the pool and present it to Ellie. An after credits scene in this episode show all the characters in the show enjoying themselves in the newly filled swimming pool.

Shannah spreads yet more chaos, causing minor issues to pop up for the student council throughout. As with most of the season, many of her actions can only be seen or heard about in the background. The “Club of Nations” membership grows considerably as people are convinced to join.

Episode Ten - “Cultural Connections!”

In an effort to highlight the schools growing diversity, a decision is reached to host a cultural exchange week, however, in a surprise move an announcement is made signifying that the vent will be organised by the local branch of the Ancestral Study Group. Students are asked to present information and examples on their own cultural traditions, with some going further and providing information on eccentric or notable figures from their own family tree.

As Claudia is also a member of the Adventurer Club, a number of her friends also volunteer to help out. Amelia is a notable exception, with the eccentric student not even being present in her usual hiding spots and a proper search is soon organised. It is eventually revealed that Amelia finds a portion of the celebration uncomfortable, as she has no real family past to celebrate.

Claudia and Gracie work together to highlight Amelia's care for her younger sister, and the positive steps she has taken to advance science and create a positive legacy separate from her family and this ensures that all can celebrate the holiday together.

In the background Shannah is seen spinning the event against the student council, as she praises the Ancestral Study Group for being able to host the celebration without the involvement of the student council. Her remarks spark doubts amongst the student population, and make many question its continued existence.

Episode Eleven - “Cursed Corridors!”

As Costume and Candy Day approaches, rumours of a spirit circling the corridors spread around the school like wildfire, as a number of students claim to have heard mysterious noises and seen creepy shadows in the oldest section of the school. Unimpressed with the rumours Amelia decides to investigate the situation for herself and assembles a team comprising of Claudia, Zahhak, Rylux and Ellie

Amelia leads the group through corridors which were constructed in the 30s with what Claudia suspects were substandard materials, as Ellie is able to spot numerous leaks emerging from the plumbing system. It is revealed that the eerie noises are not caused by the presence of a spirit but rather the poor condition of this part of the building, with the strange noises being linked to old pipes and the shadows being caused by moonlight peering in from poorly maintained shutters.

Zahhak is able to spot another element of the haunting, as he finds a student taking photographs! It turns out that Mina, a member of the schools photography club was using the dilapidated nature of this part of the school to take artistic photographs and her presence had been mistaken as another sign of the presence of a spirit!

Amelia and the Adventurer Club return with their findings, and together with Mina quickly start a project to create a haunted corridor exhibit to help raise money to renovate the old part of the school.

Episode Twelve - “Masters of Tomorrow!”

Adventurer High is hosting the regional stage of the Conference for the Masters of Tomorrow, an incredibly fierce competition as the winners of this stage progress to the next stage and compete against a segment of their peers from across the nation. Amelia unveils her project, a compact device that utilises ground-breaking nanotechnology to facilitate cellular regeneration in wounds and even replace destroyed organs, with the inventing astonishing the crowd for it's life-saving potential.

In the background Shannah is shown attempting to undermine the student council during the event, as she builds up relationships with students by praising their work while subtly criticising the student council for several organisational errors which she claims could risk disaster if safety measures were sidestepped to avoid further delays.

While the students are celebrating their own success, a small explosion rocks the building as an exhibit starts to surge out of control! Horrifically, the student responsible for the entry reveals that the exhibit was supposed to demonstrate sustainable power generation and therefore could theoretically destroy the entire school if left to continue surging. As the school descends to chaos, Amelia steps forward using her technical expertise to stabilise the device and prevent disaster, however, a late surge from the device delivers a sudden blast of energy which throws her backwards and requires her to visit the clinic!

Questions are raised about the malfunctioning experiment, with some suspecting that the heated nature of the competition led someone to sabotage a fellow students exhibit to further their own ends, and further blame falls upon the student council as the student blames their earlier failures for the disaster.

A flashback showcases Shannah distracting a student while offering encouragement, and using the opportunity to adjust a component in the device leading to the incident later in the episode.

Season Three

Episode Number/Name Description
Episode One - “Secret Basement?" With the end of summer break, a new school year is marked with unease and uncertainty following the dramatic end to the regional Conference for the Masters of Tomorrow. Of course, the summer break has given most students time to recover and take a step back from this madness, however, questions continue to be raised over the malfunctioning device and the injuries Amelia sustained while ensuring that the device didn't destroy the school.

Amelia herself arrives at the school sporting several lingering signs of her injury, as her medical device was unfortunately damaged during the last episode and she hasn't been able to repair it. Almost immediately she is cornered by Rachel who shares her suspicions about Shannah, including her concern that Shannah sabotaged the conference to undermine the student council, however, Amelia refuses to believe that someone would endanger the student population for such a cause and focuses on fixing her invention.

In stark comparison, Shannah begins her first day back with much success, as she is able to speak to small groupings of students about her plans for the Club of Nations presenting herself as a stabilising voice. Shannah is able to link previous chaos with the student councils chaotic mismanagement and their poor leadership, and she is shown subtly moving around the pieces for a big power grab.

Shannah begins her first day back with a flourish, speaking to small groups of students about her plans for the Club of Nations. She presents herself as the voice of progress and unity, subtly criticizing the student council’s “chaotic” management of past events. Her influence has only grown over the summer, and she seems poised to launch an even bigger campaign for power.

In order to welcome all students, an assembly is held in which Amelia is recognised for her heroism and invited on-stage to receive an award and give a small speech to the students. While speaking to the crowd Amelia about the sabotaged device the mad scientist finds Shannah's expression to be quite suspicious, and after the assembly she agrees to work with Rachel to investigate the incident and brings the Adventurer Club on board to help with the mission.

Amelia and her friends are able to discover that the alterations made to the sabotaged device utilised technology beyond anyone's understanding which raises further questions. Where did the technology come from?

Episode Two - “Echoes of the Past!”

Claudia is shown leading a study session of the Ancestral Study Group, exploring old school blueprints to showcase to her fellow ASG members how to use such information to uncover information in the past. Zahhak present to provide the group with sandwiches (as he claims that the members forget to eat and aren't boldly enough) accidentally drops something on the blueprints which reveals an invisible section of the plans labelled "Experimental Wing - Highly Classified!"

Intrigued Zahhak presents the information to Rylux and Amelia, with the mystery sparking the latter's curiosity and reminding her of the advanced technology that was used to sabotage the CMM. With the assistance of the Adventurer Club the investigation ends in an empty section of the school which is unpopular with students, as those who studied in its halls experienced bad fortune in university entrance exams. Zahhak is able to detect a hidden door behind a panel, so with his skill and Ellie's strength they are able to open the door to reveal a hidden passageway which they follow to reveal a mysterious artefact.

Claudia is able to determine that the symbols around the device are an old form of communication used by the ASG before the full scale development of Malgravean Ancient, and that the symbols refer to the device as an effort to "bridge the veil" and "communicate with the unknown" which sparks discussion over the purpose of the device. At the same time, Amelia is able to connect some of the advanced technology includes in notes in the room with the technology used to sabotage the device.

In a display of his growing familiarity with Malgravean Ancient, Rylux is able to translate additional information which reveals that the experiment was part of an effort conducted by local scientists to reach out to beings on another plane of reality. In response Amelia scans the device, and discovers that the device emits an energy signature which could potentially unlock the psionic ability of overs and allow them to communicate with other planes, however, Claudia intervenes and states that such devices could have terrible side effects and could be behind the mysterious problems which caused this part of the school to be effectively abandoned.

As the group ponder their next action, Zahhak notices a pattern in the symbols on the artefact and before Rylux can intervene taps a sequence using the device which results in a sudden burst of energy, with a glowing map now emanating from the artefacts which remains a mystery to all those in the room but promises further adventure.

Episode Three - “Outside Adventure!”

The Adventurer Club moves to explore the location pinpointed on the map highlighted by the strange artefact, a seemingly abandoned warehouse located outside of the school itself that is emanating a faint energy signature. Working together Rylux and Amelia are able to trace the strange energy signature to a sealed vault hidden within the warehouse, with Zahhak using his kobold talents to unlock the vault which reveals a room that Claudia suspects acted as an archive and secondary research site for the scientists.

While deciphering the notes, Amelia and Emily discover information which highlights that the artefact in their possession was part of an experiment o communicate with beings on a higher plane. Curiously, the notes on the experiment continue until a certain point and suddenly cease, with Emily theorising that something terrible must of happened for the scientists to simply abandon the experiment.

As this happens, a small scene indicates that Shannah is tracking the Adventurer Club through a tracking device she was able to plan after tricking a first-year student to plant it.

Episode Four - “Herobold!”

While trying to uncover further information from the artefact and suffering from minor sleep deprivation Emily drops it. Suddenly, the device now starts to emit strange noises which nobody can understand. Most of the Adventurer Club suspect the artefact is now broken, however, Zahhak is convinced that the artefact is trying to speak and manages to convince Ellie and Rylux to join his scheme and try and communicate with the artefact.

Many failed attempts are made to communicate with the artifact, as Rylux and Ellie try a variety of languages to try and open up communication with the strange artefact, and Amelia is shown to be increasingly frustrated with each attempt. Eventually Zahhak gets the first breakthrough, as the device scans a sandwich he makes for Amelia and broadcasts new data for the group to decipher.

It is revealed to be personal notes from some of the scientists in the experiment which reveals the location of a second site, although, it also contains the scientists fear and some start to doubt the wisdom of their adventure.

Episode Five - “The Observatory”

Using the information revealed in the last episode, Claudia and Amelia lead the Adventurer Club to an observatory operated by Adventurer High and the Ancestral Study Group. Initially, the group are not able to find anything about the observatory which points to the strange experiment they have been following, however, while attempting to hustle a local Gracie discovers an older part of the observatory which is filled with surprisingly advanced technology.

Claudia establishes that the room was designed to amplify psychic ancestral energy, with Amelia recognising the design of the equipment as being similar to the device used to sabotage the CMM. Journals in the room indicate that scientists were using the device to try and open a gateway to a higher plane, however, instead accidentally opened a path to a more chaotic and dangerous plane which they feared would pique the interest of the Special Investigative Service and caused all to flee the facility in fear of their lives.

At this time Shannah starts to spread information about the Adventurer Club's missions endangering the school, and the group is temporarily forced to return.

Episode Six - “The Heist!”

With the group forced to return to the school, a feeling of frustration descends upon the group as they are forced to simply engage in regular school activities. Zahhak's frustration is doubled, as the kobold is unable to use the schools kitchen facilities and is prevented from making the large number of sandwiches that he makes for the group.

After much struggle, Zahhak declares himself "rebelbold" and starts to work with Ellie and Emily on a heist, with the latter seemingly entering just to see how Ellie looks in her heist gear. Carefully, the trio sneak into the kitchen and start to "liberate" ingredients, however, unknown to them their actions are spotted by Shannah and used as evidence to attack the Adventurer Club.

Returning with their supplies, Zahhak starts to make sandwiches for the group and even attempts to teach Ellie and Emily. Ellie is quite good at making Kouralian-inspired sandwiches, however, Emily somehow manages to cause an explosion which covers the entire room in mayonnaise. Strangely, the explosion has an impact on the artefact which starts emanating bursts of energy.

Episode Seven - “Signal”

Amelia, Claudia, Rylux and Emily have been analysing the strange energy bursts emanating from the artefact, with Zahhak seen doing his best to encourage the eccentric nerds to rest and eat freshly made sandwiches. After much trouble it is discovered that the energy is being sent to previous locations that they have explode, however, these bursts are becoming more powerful and reveal a new location within the school grounds, although, before exploring Amelia quickly develops a device which she claims may be able to dampen the unstable energy being produced by the artefact.

Following the signal, the group travel to a large agricultural field which helps provide the school with an ample supply of ingredients throughout the year. All of the workers appear to be familiar with Zahhak, as the kobold is revealed to have helped grow some of the ingredients and the group have no trouble exploring the area due to his friendship with them.

In exploring the field, the group find an old bunker which has long been forgotten. Inside, the artefact they are carrying starts to emit a gentle hum of energy that quickly starts to build, however, before it can get to dangerous levels Amelia deploys her dampening device and the energy dissipates to reveal the aftermath of a planar rift.

Claudia and Rylux theorise that the planar rift potentially opened up to the chaotic realm feared by the original scientists, a theory which is confirmed as Ellie finds scribbled notes which underscore the scientists fears of disaster.

Episode Eight - “Shadows of the Past”

While exploring archival notes, the adventurer group finds evidence which suggests that some of the scientists involved in the project wished to destroy the artefact while others sort to use it to consolidate their own power and other wild fantasies. It is theorised that energy disturbances emanating from the portals caused widespread panic and fear among the original researchers, a contributing factor to the overall research being abandoned and deeply classified.

As this information is revealed, Zahhak accidentally triggers a hidden mechanism in the room which causes temporal distortions to appear showcasing the work being done by the scientists in the past, and the fear and paranoia they were experiencing. Using her knowledge of ancient symbols Claudia is able to shut down this hidden mechanism, however, the group is now aware of the full dangers posed by the artefacts and they now resolve to learn more to prevent future disasters.

Shannah's machinations bear fruit, as she is able to get the Adventurer Club summoned before the Student Council.

Episode Nine - “Trial of the Century!”

Rachel Berry summons the Adventurer Club to an emergency meeting of the Student Council to discuss their recent activities, and recent strange occurances that have been happening all over the school. Under pressure from the Club of Nations, a harsh line is taken against the Adventurer Club with speculation emerging that the club could be forcibly disbanded.

Claudia defends their work, arguing that they have uncovered valuable unknown historical knowledge about previous attempts to grow closer with the ancestors, this approach appears to win over the crowd and after much deliberation the group is allowed to continue under the strict oversight of the Student Council.

Episode Ten - “Kobold Training!”

As part of their ongoing investigation of the device, Amelia discovers a journal entry which references advanced blueprints for a device capable of permanently stabilising the artefact being worked on by the scientists, however, the group is complete as the scientists were forced into hiding due to interference from the Special Investigative Service.

Unfortunately, the advanced blueprints are also a victim of their paranoia as they are located behind a series of traps that are so extensive that puts the task beyond even a kobold. When all think hope is lost, Zahhak is able to come up with a solution as he does his best to train the Adventurer Club to dismantle the traps, with Ellie doing her best to help Zahhak whip the club members into shape and a montage shows the members learning under their guidance.

Together, the club members are able to use the skills they learned and the blueprints are discovered. It's now up to Amelia and her fellow nerds to finish this device.

Episode Eleven - "Ancestral Alignment!”

At the start of the episode, the energy pulses from the artefact are shown to be increasing in strength. Amelia states plainly that without her stabiliser the entire country could be at risk, as the portals created are known to connect to a dangerous world.

In response, the Adventure Club rally behind Amelia and help her complete her goal, with non-nerds like Zahhak providing sandwiches while Ellie is able to provide assistance to Emily by simply wearing a traditional Kouralian suit. Partway through the assembly of the device, a surge of energy is released through the artefact which narrowly misses the group but creates a portal!

As the group recover from the shock, a shadowy figure from the other side of the portal attempts to crossover, however, Amelia is able to use her half-finished device to partially dampen the device and close the portal. It's known that the temporary dampening won't hold and the group double their efforts to create the stabilising device.

Episode Twelve - "Ancestral Disaster!”

Despite the work done in the previous episode, an alarm signifies that the artefact has started to emit dangerous energy surges which are starting to cause minor disruptions around the school. All know that this development signifies that the device is growing in strength and that more dangerous disruptions aren't too far away.

In her lab, Amelia is seen working on the stabilisation device, a large number of energy drinks around her indicating that she hasn't slept for a considerable period of time. As this is going on, Claudia, Rylux and Zahhak are seen scouring through known records in the Ancestral Study Group while Ellie and the rest of the Adventurer Club do their best to help the students deal with the emerging disruptions.

Elsewhere, Shannah is showing moving her plan into action, as she levels more criticism against the Student Council and claims that only her leadership through the Club of Nations can guide them through the crisis. All the concerned students are thrown into a loop and now the power struggle becomes an open affair.

After finishing her stabilisation device, Amelia reveals that due to the energy fluctuations the stabilisation device cannot be activated remotely but needs someone to manually account for these variations. A passionate argument follows with several people volunteering, however, after pointing out her familiarity with the device Amelia wins the argument.

As the Adventurer Club prepares to tackle the artefact, Shannah starts her move to take control of the Student Council. In an emergency meeting she calls for a vote of no confidence, and is able to utilise the panic caused by the artefact to win the people over to her side and she emerges as the new student council leader.

Unaware of the power struggle, the Adventurer Club rally around the school to help protect students from the chaos, with Amelia entering the chamber they originally discovered the artefact and starting to calibrate the stabilisation device. As she works, a mass of energy spikes from the device destroying a bookcase behind Amelia indicating the incredible danger of the mission.

While Amelia works, a strange noise is heard before Zahhak is seen throwing sandwiches around the artefact to absorb the energy before he's forced to withdraw from the chamber after the artefact reacts negatively to his sandwich throwing skills. Amelia uses the valuable distraction to finalise her adjustments on her stabilisation device, however, as the artefact begins to stabilise it releases a final burst of energy which strikes Amelia and causes her to fly across the room.

With the situation under control, the artefact is seized by the government who state that they will be placing it in a secure vault and restricting all further investigation into it's properties. Amelia is shown to be recovering in hospital, with Sahaeli and Zahhak providing her with food as the Adventurer Club revel in their success. Still, all is not well as Shannah is scene issuing plans to cement her power over the student council and crush all opposition.

Season Four

Episode Number/Name Description
Episode One - “Back to Normal?"

After the near-disaster in the last season, the school is shown getting back to normal albeit with a few major differences. Shannah is shown consolidating her power over the Student Council, as she works to ensure that all clubs are aligned with her or simply excluded from official school events.

By being credited with saving the school, the Adventurer Club is immune from this level of control, and quickly becomes the centre point of the resistance against Shannah's increasing control over the school, with Rachel and Quinn officially starting efforts to try and stop Shannah's reign of tyranny.

Episode Two - “Hospital Investigation!”

While recovering from her injuries, Amelia starts to investigate the incident at the earlier Conference for the Masters of Tomorrow and the sabotaged device which nearly destroyed the school. Claudia, Zahhah and Rylux decide to help Amelia with her investigation, however, the group hit a stumbling block when they realise that the student behind the malfunctioning project no longer attends the school.

Episode Three - “Council Politics!”

Rachel attempts to communicate with members of the Student Council to rally against Shannah, however, her efforts fail as Shannah's attempts to intimidate the council into submission are shown. Elsewhere Amelia continues her investigation into the earlier CMM incident, however, is hamstrung by her injuries in the last season. Runa, Ellie and Atoti attempt to gather intelligence, but a mixture of cultural understandings leave to comical misunderstandings.

Episode Four - “Quiz Day!”

Adventurer High hosts a trivia competition, with various clubs across the school forming to compete for glory, potential additional funding and the all-important bragging rights, with the following teams forming

  • Amelia, Claudia and Emily
  • Rylux, Zahhak and Sun Down
  • Gracie, Ellie and Runa
  • Tyroth, Mishera and Jarlsberg

Shannah also enters the competition with a couple of her lackeys from the Club of Nations, with a conversation revealing that Shannah intends to use manipulative tactics to sabotage her competition and emerge victorious.

Arnold and Anita start the competition, with Amelia's team gaining an early advantage as the initial questions revolve around rather complex science and engineering topics, although, strangely Ellie is shown being able to answer some of the advanced science questions despite appearing quite clueless on the subject.

Amelia's team advantage quickly disappears as the next round switches to cultural topics, with the eccentric scientist leaders responses to some of the questions causing Claudia to simply hold her head in her hands. All the other teams perform well during this round, with Gracie even performing a small musical number before being stopped by Arnold.

With all teams close to each other, a fierce sense of competition emerges as the next round is revealed to be all about history, as each team has moments to shine. Unknown to all Shannah had instructed her lackeys to sabotage this stage of the competition by placing in questions on an obscure part of Kouralian history in an attempt to further divisions amongst the different teams and cement her power.

Shannah's plan hits an unknown stumbling block, as Emily is able to go into great detail on the questions. In spite of numerous objections, Emily also pulls out a massive binder and starts to go on a rant about Kouralian virtue and Ellie but is prevented when the latter whispers something to her that causes her to pass out after suffering a major nosebleed.

With the final round starting Shannah tries one final attempt to distract the team, as she "accidentally" brings up the trauma many experienced during the CMM incident and the chaos caused by the incident. Shannah's tactics fail, as it greatly inspires Amelia's team who answer the next questions in rapid succession.

Afterwards Amelia's team is declared the winner, with the science team declaring that they will use the additional funding to help teams which have been suffering as a result of Shannah's decision to exclude them from official activtiy. As Malgrave is a very science-focused nation, the science club is virtually untouchable and Shannah is seen complaining about nerds to her lackeys as the episode ends.
