Asuria, officially the Asurian Democratic Republic, is a state within the Cradole Continent. Centered at the capital city of Garandale, the nation's people, referred to as Asurians, speak the Asurian language, which itself consists of numerous dialects, namely Asurian Major, the dialect consisting of the majority of the population of Asuria, West Asurian, the dialect that the people of the West Asurian Special Administrative Zonespeak , and South Asurian, the dialect that the residents of the South Asurian Autonomous Republic speak. The two autonomous regions were founded with varying cultural and political differences, as West Asuria has heavy Gorarian influences, whilst South Asurian has large Esorian and Tayerian influences. Politically, the nation is a restricted Socialist Multi_party Democracy, meaning that the party is a democracy with free and fair democratic elections, so long as if said parties and candidates competing in the elections are center-left or left-wing. This has led to numerous controversy amongst the international community, leading to numerous events in recent times such as the Asurian Spring, occurring around the same time as the Tayerian Spring (Tayeria having a similar issue but instead Tayeria only allows right-wing or center-right parties) and were part of the wider Garandalic Mass Democratic Movements seeking to establish free and fair democratic process in numerous countries such as Oilanzandia, Daria, Corsare and Nimano leading to significant events towards the achievement of democracy such as the Oilanzandian Thaw, the Darian Revolution, and the Glorious Revolution. Currently, the Prime Minister is Salaren Gire of the Socialist Party.
