The Federal Union of Aventhia (FEUNA), commonly known as Aventhia is a country comprising the northwestern mainland of Vardes and numerous islands around its territorial waters. It is the second largest country in the Vardes continent, and shares its borders with Futrellia and several other nations in the continent. Aventhia's population of 106 million is highly urbanized, with 70% of the population located in coastal and flat regions of the country. Aventhia's capital is Bellux, and its largest city is Westport, with several other metropolitan areas such as Payton, Hughes, Clavis and North Point. The majority of Aventhia's territories are in the mainland, with a couple of islands including Mannport a part of the country. All twenty-seven of Aventhia's states are located in the mainland. Aventhia's diverse geography across its territories makes it one of many megadiverse countries in Elvarya.
Several research indicates that several thousands of indigenous tribes across the continent flocked into rich mineral places and created independent dominions of their own, of which these dominions inhabited many of the regions for centuries, but suffered stagnation and were soon conquered by expedition groups from the arrival of the colonists in 1728. The region of Aventhia was established by the Colonial Group, spearheading advancements for the region's populace. Disputes between the populace in Aventhia and the CGR prompted Futrellia to annex the region in the late 18th century. Following the creation of the Goodman Congress in 1892, civil unrest ensued across many of the region's population centers, advocating independence from Futrellia that led to the Statute of Bellux in 1895. The Tyderius Act of 1904 granted Aventhia autonomy from Aventhia as it transitions towards independence in 1941.
Aventhia is a developed country, with one of the most developed economies in the world, contributing to its advanced social, economic and development sectors. It is a regional power, with significant expenditures in its military. The country ranks among the highest in quality of life, health, education, economic freedom, civil liberties and political rights, with the latter marred by recent controversies. Its multicultural society is among the most friendliest in the world, with 25% of its population comprised of immigrants from other countries. It is a member of the Vardosian Innovation and Science Agency, as well as other international organizations.
