The '''23rd Independent Regiment''' (nicknamed "Huntsman") is an independent {{wpl|light infantry}}, {{Wpl|Special forces|special operations}} capable {{Wpl|Regiment|regiment}} of the [[Shenandoahan Army National Guard]] which is specialized in {{Wpl|Direct action (military)|direct action}} special operations. It is headquartered at North Hills Armory, in Kinkade, [[Administrative regions of the Shenandoahan Commonwealth|Kanawha]], near the city of [[St Albans]]. However, the majority of the regiments component {{wpl|Battalion|battalion}}s are forward deployed to other locations within the nation.
