The city is named for Reintero Salenskú, who, with Filip of Rovaniemi, led the conquest of the many tribes in Obets that united under the eObet Empire in the 16th and 17th centuries. Downtown Alenskè features the Saana Ana district, which hosts Capitol Park, a diamond shaped park with the House of Directors, Eskustaheilléa, Supreme Court, and National Archives Museum on each side. In the center of Capitol Park is the National Botanic Garden which features long winding pathways of native eObet plants. Outside of the Capitol Park includes the eObet Cultural Center, the Alenskè Metropolitan Museum of Art, the statue to Filip of Rovaniemi, and other museums as part of the Kaskomagi Museum Complex.
