Alimus is a continent in the northern and eastern hemispheres of Earst. It is bordered by the Cold Sea and the Great Eastern Sea to the east, by the Great Southern Sea to the south and by the Dragon's Back Mountains to the west. It largely encompasses the watersheds of the Great Middle River, the River Emna, and the River Palauvarang.

The continent covers a land area of 3,903,516 km2 and is home to approximately 158 million people. Politically, Alimus is divided into 27 sovereign nations and 2 dependencies, of which Yuva is the largest and most populous.

Alimutian culture is the root of Pan-Alimutian civilisation, which traces its lineage back to ancient Beritania and classical Alentia. The fall of the Alentian Empire in 525 CE and the related Great Emnian Migration marked the end of Alimus's ancient history and the beginning of the Middle Ages. The Renaissance began in Alencia and spread to the rest of the continent, bringing a renewed interest in humanism, exploration, art, science, and culture, which contributed to the beginning of the modern era.

The Union of Alimutian States (UAS) and the Yuvan Bloc are two important international organisations aiming to represent Alimus on a global political level. The members of the UAS have adopted a common currency, the scale, and participate in a single market and customs union.
