It is one of the states that seceded from Russia following the collapse of the Russian Federation in 2022, and is led by Alliluya Fyodorova, whom religious Alliluyans claim to be the incarnation of God the Daughter. Alliluya does not have a state nor a government, except for the Council to the Nations which represents the country in international relations. Instead, the country functions as a collection of several connected communes which Fyodorova leads.

It borders the Russian Federation to the west and the Eastern Republic, a partially-recognised Russian breakaway state, to the east. Alliluya's geography is centred around its largest city, Yakutsk, and the Lena river which flows through the country. With a boreal climate, 42% of Alliluya's land area is covered in taiga.
