Brugmansia Solanaceae also referred to as Solanaceae or Solan, is a Xyn mystic and politician currently serving as Councillor for the Xyn in the Interstellar Assembly since 46 PA. Currently the oldest Xyn in activity, nearing some 7,000 years old, Solanaceae is a living legend amongst his people who has served in numerous roles across his lifetime: before and after Entering the Shroud. His historic positions include Mystagogue of Ijurij, which he served as before and shortly after the Shroud, Seer Sacred of the Galactic Eye (a position that is now defunct) and as the Mystic Profound of Naharanthwa.
Solanaceae was the first Xyn to be awoken on Ijurij, the sister world of Verwindt within Guchetga Anthwa. This has continued through an honourific title bestowed on him: The First Awoken of Ijurij.
What is known of Solanaceae before the Xyn entry into the Shroud is that he was a renowned psionic user, simultaneously holding the positions of 'Seer Sacred of the Galactic Eye', a position thought to be of immense importance in aiming to navigate the Winds, and the Mystic Profound: the chief monk within Naharanthwa. Information does also have him serving as an ambassador to an unknown race.
Brugmansia Solanaceae is a unique Xyn in the fact he was born without a set sex. He possesses both male and female Xyn productive parts and is capable of asexual reproduction and self-sexual reproduction. He considers himself 'male' in the terms of other races and is known to use male pronouns to refer to himself.
Born far earlier than nearly every known living entity in the Galaxy, Solanaceae is somewhere near 7,000 years in age. His incredibly advanced age has resulted in him wearing a life-supporting suit, which assists him in numerous ways. These include such functions as changing colour to reflect his mood, absorbing sunlight and serving as a stabilising assistant to his immense psionic powers.
