For the next two years the aircraft underwent development and testing, with a semi-functional prototype completed in spring 1983.  The first flight was scheduled to begin in late 1983, but the outbreak of the [[Refusal War]] brought development of the aircraft to a halt, and the project was cancelled following the dissolution of the [[Republic of Syara]]. The popularity of the aircraft among social media users led to a petition among fans of the show for the CAF to revist the prospect, which Syara declined.
