Common, formally Common Standard, is a Western language of the Ave branch that is widely spoken as a native language in Odevia and Avelon (as Avenian). The most widely spoken second-language in the world, Common is a global lingua franca. Modern spoken Common and its dialects are descended from the standardized variety of Avenian that originated in Odevia.
