Coventrey, officially known as the Kingdom of Coventrey, is a sovereign nation. It covers an area of XXX square kilometres (XXX sq mi) and has a population of more than 67.7 million people. Coventrey's capital and largest city is Williamsburg, while other major cities include Santo Domingo, Charlottesville, Richmond, Roanoke, Hampton, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, East Beach, Winchester, Charleston, New Orleans, Salem, Nantucket, Plymouth, Montreal, Santiago, Newport, Annapolis, Bristol, Levis, Laval, and Sainte-Croix. Established in the 14th century the country is one of the oldest countries in the world.
Coventrey is a federal constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary system. The current monarch is King William IV.
It is divided into fifty-three counties. Coventrey is a developed country, with an advanced high-income economy. It is known throughout the world for its high standards of living, its healthcare, and its educational system. It has been categorized as "very high" in the Human Development Index. It is also consistently ranked as one of the safest countries in the world to live in.
History
The Kingdom of Coventrey was established after Prince Afonso of the House of Porter defeated the forces of PLACEHOLDER at the battle of Santiago on 19th June 1190. Afonso declared himself king on that day, his descendants continue to rule Coventrey to this day. Afonso established his capital at Santo Domingo. The capital was not established at Williamsburg until 1306 where it remains.
The House of Porter died out in the male line in 1588 and the country was seized by COUNTRYNAME in connection with an ancient treaty that stipulated that if the line of Porters died out the kingdom would revert to COUNTRYNAME. For twenty years the people of Coventrey suffered under the over lordship of COUNTRYNAME until William Washington, a descendant in the direct line declared himself King sparking the Coventrein Restoration War. William Washington, Duke of Powhatan, known to history as William II staked his claims on the grounds of being the only legitimate descendant of the house of Porter, albeit a female line. The clergy, nobility, and the townsfolk rallied to the young mans cause and within months the country had ousted the usurpers government, however war would exist between Coventrey and COUNTRYNAME until 1638 when peace was finally reached.
His wife Maria, Duchess of Powhatan when confronted with the possibility of losing everything by supporting her husband is said to have famously uttered the phrase: "It is better to be Queen for a day then to be duchess for a lifetime."
Economy
Up until the 19th century, the country was largely an agricultural society, with large sugar, cotton, rice, indigo, and tobacco plantations dominating the country. The country's agriculture relied primarily on the slave labor, this type of slavery was unique to Coventrey for its use of primarily Caucasian laborers, the original motive behind this being that Caucasians could work the fields without absorbing the sunlight as the Coventrians did. slavery would exist in Coventrey until King William III issued a decree freeing the slaves in 1881.

Coventrey is a very religious country with an estimated 81% of the population being of the Roman Catholic faith, and the remaining 19% adhering to other religions. The Catholic church continues to serve as the state church of the kingdom, a role it has held for the last six hundred years.
Education
The educational system in Coventrey is divided into preschool (for those under age 6), basic education (for 9 years), secondary education (for 3 years), and higher education. Education in the country is compulsory until age 16.
The most prestigious places for higher learning are the ten oldest universities in the country, they are: Salem University, King's College, Santiago College, Sainte-Croix University, Roanoke University, Richmond College, Queen's College, Annapolis University, Montreal University, and Nantucket University. Salem University the oldest university in the country was established in 1492.

The traditional cuisine of Coventrey is noted for its hearty flavor, often being high in fat, sodium, and starch, with yams, peanuts, corn, rice, okra, sorghum, poultry, pigs, and waterfowl being consumed by the majority of the population.
Common dishes of Coventrian origin include, fried chicken, fried fish, banana pudding, sweet potato pie, chitterlings, pigs feet, hoecake, black-eyed peas, sweet potatoes, grits, and cornbread.
