Dosceriche (/ˈdɒskˌrɪ/ DOSK-ritch), officially the Free State of Dosceriche (Dosceric Alemannic: Fryståt Doskenryk (Nyespråke) or Freestaat Doschenriek (Hoochdosker)), is a sovereign state in northeastern Asura. Located in Alemannia, Dosceriche is bordered by Mascylla to the east, Tudonia to the south, the Leidense Republic to the west, and shares a maritime border with placeholder to the north. With an area of 82,235 km² (31,751 sq mi) and a population of over eight million inhabitants, Dosceriche is one of the smaller states in Asura in both population and area.

Dosceriche has been inhabited since at least 18,000 BCE by the Old Asuran Readish people. Alemannic settlement began from the 7th century onward, but would remain limited until the Alemannic Crusades the 14th century. Following the dissolution of the Boreal Confederation in 1621, most of its member states would become members of the Mascyllary Realm, in which they would remain until the Millers' Wars and the Dosceric Revolution, both part of the greater War of the Five Kings, and leading to the secession of the western states as the Kingdom of Dosceriche in 1793.

The Kingdom joined on the side of the Concordat in the Great War and in the aftermath of defeat would be replaced by the First Free State, which itself would be overthrown in the 1926 May Revolution that established the People's Republic of Dosceriche. After the end of the Second Great War, the country was occupied and the monarchy restored. Growing popular discontent would led to the declaration of a second Free State in 1982, but would soon devolve into the three-year long Dosceric Civil War in 1985.

Since the Zaufanie Accords and the end of the civil war, Dosceriche has been a federal parliamentary constitutional republic with a President as head of state and a Chancellor as head of government, although it has consistently been criticised by non-governmental organisations for its authoritarian leadership. A developing country, Dosceriche has an economy led by us service sector followed by the industrial sector and agriculture and ranks highly on the Human Development Index. Following the end of the Second Great War, the country has established and maintained a policy of armed neutrality.
