Agrarian to fossil fuels and industry
For much of Eseriea's history it's economy was primarily based on the agrarian lifestyle with farming dotting the majority of the countryside. Most of the population lived and worked in small farming communities producing the food necessary for the country to feed itself. This has long been a national policy of the Esereian government to not rely on food imports. In the late 1800s however oil was discovered on the northeastern coast of the country which changed Esereia forever. The northern half of the country developed cities as the introduction of oil led to quick industrialization of the northern Esereian economy. Cities like capital city Grennighll in the west, Olorhas in the north central and Harnik is the east saw the most growth.
