The party was founded by the controversial politcal author Mikeal Jannsson and Former National State Officer Hans Klöver, with its party manifesto being based upon Anti-immigration and isolationism. The party attracted a wide range of supporters durring the 1988 election, from moderate conservatives who disagreed with the formation of the AHP to Nationalists who opposed the new wave of immigration to Alvsberg. | |||
