GRAIL

GRAIL, or the Global Revolutionized Alliance of International Liberty, is a multinational alliance currently consisting of 74 member states, as well as the observer states of Skyhooked and Kyundao.

Purpose

The purpose of GRAIL, as stated by Empirical Switzerland is, "To ensure that Freedom, Justice, and Liberty are all spread to the furthest extent of this living world as humanly possible, even if we must fight for it!"

History

GRAIL was founded on May 30, 2020 by Empirical Switzerland, and many members began to join, and by September 4th, 2020, it had gained 15 members.

The Zarnicovian Novan Civil War
On September 18, 2048, Zarnicovia Nova was thrust into a civil war when a rebellion broke out in the south. Trenaka began to supply the Zarnicovia Novans with aid, and eventually declared an intervention against the rebels. Trenaka also started a blockade of the rebel territory using thair navy. The rebels managed to send a covert strike force to the GRAIL headquarters in New Bern, Empirical Switzerland. This attack force was headed by the rebel Lord Karen, who ordered child soldiers to fire on the diplomats. However, Swiss guards blocked them from doing so, and manage to capture the soldiers, and Lord Karen attempts to flee via the river that is by the GRAIL headquarters, but is blocked by patrol ships from the Imperial Swiss navy. She is eventually captured. After the attack is finished, Empirical Switzerland and Trenaka both intervene, and send troops and planes to Zarnicovia Nova to fight the rebels, as well as using their respective navies to blockade the rebels, and victory was secured in a couple of months.
