PredecessorØge Cabinet

The cabinet of Byennordvest forms the country’s executive branch of government. The cabinet was appointedby Grand Duke Edvard on the 19th of October 2019 three days after ele tion results were called. The third Höelff cabinet was formed after three days of negotiations which Byeansk media such as BVN described as chaotic as the Grønnaparti and Frøskrittsparti both wanted more ministries than they had recieved during the previous cabinet, Höelff refused to back down from her initial offer and they joined the new government nontheless the day after their claim. The current cabinet was formed in 2019 after the general election after which the Sentrumparti and their leader Runa Höelff held position at the head of the cabinet and formed a majority coalition government with four other parties. This is the third Höelff cabinet. She first became Prime Minister in 2009 when she formed a four party coalition government. Then again in 2014 when she formed a five party cabinet as the Ny Liberal party we’re in government from 2014-2019. After that this current cabinet was formed. The third Höelff cabinet is made up if twenty ministers. They meet weekly at the Juraplassen which is the seat of the Stortringesknet the Byeansk parliament in Byennorde. The third Höelff cabinet is one of only three examples where a Prime Minister of Byennordvest has gone on to successfully lead a third successive coalition government. The third Höelff government will cease to be in 2024 when the next Byeansk General Election is scheduled.
