Named after the real life Cazu Martzu Cheese House Cazu Martzu is one of the 2 primary magic using houses of the Mousefolk in The Rise of Magic

Culture

The mice of House Cazu Martzu are known to be the most isolationist and eccentric of the mice believing in a philosophy of only the strongest deserve to rule and if one is unable to prevent misfortune they clearly deserved it.

Architecture

Most Cazu-Martzu settlements are built around a large ball of cheese grown and suspended onto the cave ceiling by a powerful house wizard which acts as a sort of protection to the local inhabitants as the wizard lords of the house tend to not extort the local populations much, but do benefit from the settlement's new merchants and artisans. At the same time few outside forces would dare attack a settlement under the protection of a powerful Cazu-Martzu mage. Such settlements are called Casus
