Lecistan for a Democratic & Peaceful Change (Lec: Lekkëbë dlô Skrãcac Demòkraticznô ë Sztëlicznô, LdSDëSz ; Leco-Odissian: Lecchebe dlò Scrötsats Democratitxnò e Xtelitxnò, LdSDeX) was a minor social liberal political party in Lecistan, created on 9 September 2015 during the campaign for the October 2015 elections. It was formed by former supporters of the Moderate Front who were more socially liberal than the centrist party.

The party was disbanded by Lech after he felt that Lecistan is too unstable & devastated for his message to be spread.

The party's platform promotes social justice, multiculturalism, social liberalism, and progressive policies.

Platform

the ideology of LdSDëSz is mainly about promoting a peaceful and democratic Lecistan without chaos. It advocates rights for women and minorities, the ousting of the current Duke, and a overhaul in the government, the withdraw of Nevanmaa from Lec territory, the inclusion of a referendum about wheter or not Lecistan should be an independent, sovereign state or an cuturally, socially autonomous dependency of Odissia, the banning of torture and of public executions, banning extreme right-wing groups and promoting civil rights.

Foreign Policy

The LdSDëSz beleives that all the troubles in Lecistan was not caused by the inheritance of Juhani III of Nevanmaa, but by the previous governments of the past 100 years. On it's website, it defines it stance on foreign issues as "giving the Lecistani people chocies, decisons & independence whether they will remain a sovereign nation or a dependency of Odissia" and "to be in harmony with all peoples". The party has supported rulings in Odissia declaring Lecistani independence in the 1940's illegal, saying that it is time that the people of Lecistan must make a decision.

History

Days after Nevanmma and Lecistan arrested nearly 800 people in crackdowns, most of them members of leftist parties such as the controversial Rally for Lecistani Sovereignty and Lecistan Social Democrats, Staniswônrzi brutally condemned the mass arrests and calling the Nevan-controlled Lecistan puppet govenrment and their overlords as " "racist, xenophobic, supermacist and genocidal" & threatning to flee to Odissia and be granted political asylum there until the government changes their minds. He attacked Nevanmaa by blaming her for the 2015 Nevan royal wedding bombing, saying if they have stopped the perpetrators, Nevanmaa will not have control over Lecistan.

He attended the debate at Grand Duke Krësztof I Òłówski Concert Hall in Szimóngôcz on the 22nd, but was not in Lecistan and was living in Bonoventi, Odissia after the Odissian government granted him asylum, so he attended via videoconferencing.
