A royal consort is the legal spouse of a ruling king or queen. Consorts of the Skavandian monarch have no constitutional status or legal authority; however, the constitution of Skavand does allow the monarch to share some of their authority with their spouse, i.e. representing the country for diplomatic missions. The power-sharing agreement does not allow a monarch to create new status or authority for their spouse, it only allows the monarch to share their own authority that is limited by the constitution. Most monarchs did not share their authority with their spouses until the 20th century with the rise of the women's rights movement. Royal consorts have considerable influence in culture, politics and law in the country and have been seen as an equal partner to the monarch.

As of 2021, there is no incumbent consort as King Liam is currently single. There is one living consort: Queen Regina The Queen Mother, the stepmother to the King.
