Litebbe is the largest city in Aybrea, with a population of roughly 704,000 people. It is located in the south center of the country, on the banks of the Gell River across the border from Austrolis. Litebbe's main airport, Litebbe International Airport, is the busiest in the country. The area has been inhabited by the native Hasu people since the 4th century BCE. It was later a Quetanan Christian mission, and a slave resettlement site, before becoming the chief port of the country. By the time of Aybrean independence in 1960, the city was a trading post and minor administrative center with a population of 32,000. Since 1960, Litebbe has grown rapidly.
