Lojos, officially Lojos County, is a county in the Obets United Republic covered with boreal forest and moorland. Lojos borders Pohjanmaa to the northwest, Pohjos-Uralia to the north, Uralia to the east, the Palena Ocean to the south, and Sastekiń to the southwest. Lojos is the sixth most populous county in the Obets United Republic with just over 1 million people, and it ranks 9th by area. Lapalahti, the county capital, and Lojos, the largest city, are ancient cities known for their museums and prestigous unversities producing world-renowned contributions to academia. The Menomeni and Oźebè Tribes inhabit the northwest of the county, populating the incredibly sparse boreal forest which Superior National Park also covers, a park named for Mount Superior, the largest free-standing mountain in Obets.
