Louie Steel is an Espoonian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Espoona City FC and and captains the Espoona national football team. Often considered to be one the best Espoonian players of all time, Steel has won two Justin Chan Awards, a record six Espoona Cups, and in 2020 was named in the Gerelan All-Time XI.

He started his career at Solaris FC after being picked up by their new youth scouting academy in 2011. He quickly moved through the ranks, and in 2016 became the youngest Espoonian player to play in the football leagues, at just 16 years and 32 days old. He was prolific in his first campaign, scoring in every game and helping Solaris achieve promotion to the Espoonian Premier League for the first time in their history.

In January 2017, he was transferred to Espoona City FC for an Espoona record transfer fee of 30 billion Espoons. On his arrival he was gifted the number 11 shirt, and a guaranteed spot in the first team. He swiftly cemented his place in the starting 11 with a truly spectacular performance on his domestic debut, putting 5 past veteran goalkeeper Harry Jones as Espoona City beat CA Paritor 7-0 on the first day of the 2017 season.
