Maeralya Amador is the second monarch of the Kingdom of Amador and it's first Queen, having served in her position since March 20, 1486. A member of the royal family, Maeralya previously served as Crown Princess. Maeralya was born in Ifa Serine during the Eternal age, pre-dating written history. As per familial traditions, she joined politics from a young age, often garnering widespread acclaim from her compatriots. She has attended eternal Ifa Serine University, the oldest school for higher education in the nation. MAeralya is widely considered the oldest Amadorian Elf to have ever lived.

As the 1st Queen of Amador, she has sat the throne for over five hundred years. Keeping with tradition, Maeralya has kept Amador isolated on the diplomatic stage from the wider world, but most specifically Gholgoth. In recent decades, she has broken with tradition, allowing foreign investments and diplomatic missions. A peaceful queen, she has fostered relationships between the Kingdom's elvish population, human, and other non-human relations for centuries. She is often hailed as a paragon bringing her populace closer than it has ever been. As Keeper of the Eternal Flame, her status as Queen is absolute and as such, she is considered a living deity. Furthermore, as Keeper of the Eternal Flame and as a member of the immortal family, Maeralya Amador is the only holder of flame magicks in the nation. Her will is absolute, yet just. Firm, yet kind. Much of Maeralya's first two centuries were spent elevating the social classes of the kingdom to equal heights of equality and freedoms. Many of her biggest priorities include: Equality of Races, Economic Reforms, Civil Reforms, and Transportation.

Early Life and Career

Maeralya Saelihn Raloquinal Amador was born c. 10,000 B.C as the daughter of King Tal Vashok Amador and Queen Consort Nephira Korena in Ifa Serine. An elf of unimaginable age, she has served as Crown Royal to Amador since the establishment of the Amadorian Dynasty in 1487 B.C following her fathers Ascension during the Amadorian Upgrisings. As the first-born child of the monarch, she was first-in-line to the throne, which she would inherit on March 20, 1486. Maeralya is an only child, with her parents having lost two children to miscarriages. For much of her first several millenia, Maeralya would learn ancient elven traditions, combat forms, and arts. Her most notable attribute is her ability to bend the Eternal Flame to her will. Maeralya is a noted romanticist and philosopher, penning numerous writings over the course of her millennia-long lifespan. She is also a renowned architecture, with credits including the Grand Serine Bridge and Ifa Serine University, where she designed the main building and its adjacent dormitories. Maeralya is currently the oldest elf in Amador, the oldest elf to inherit the Eternal Throne, and also the longest serving crown royal in Amador's history. Maeralya has resided in Ifa Serine much of her life, though with extended decades-long stays in other cities across the Kingdom.

Family and Person Life

Maeralya married Ailred Fasandoral, a pureblood elf of the Theth Lethel house, in 834 A.D. Maeralya was the longest unwed crown princess in Amadorian history. They met in 804 A.D at a formal masquerade part in the Crystal Palace. Because of Maeralya's circumstance, she was able to marry for love instead of advantage, something most of the royal family was prone to do. After a thirty year courtship, the couple were wed in the Royal Gardens of Amador in front of friends, families, and foreign dignitaries. The couple were, and into modern times, cited as being quite the romanticist, eschewing royal duties at times to enjoy one another's company. Almost 150 years later, Maeralya and Ailred would welcome their first child Aleriel in 932 A.D. She would inherit the title of Crown Princess and as the first born child of the monarch, Aleriel is first-in-line to the throne. The couple would welcome a second child, Gaeleath, in 1,104 A.D as the First Prince.Their third and youngest child, the second princess Cylia, would be born in 1486 A.D.

Hobbies

Maearalya is an avid book reader and author, spending much of her free time in the Eternal Library in the Crystal Palace. In more modern times, she has been noted to take a keen interest in airships and land vehicles, particular in motor racing. Maeralya, despite her busy schedule, makes an emphasis on family time, holding at least some forum of family bonding each night when her family is in town.

As Keeper of the Eternal Flame, Maeralya is divinely blessed witht he power the the Eternal Phoenix. As such, she is able to bend the divine flames at well in a form of martial arts known as the Dance of Flames. She has been seen to practice this form on a near daily occurrence. Maeralya enjoys painting, though she has said she is "not that good."

Military Career

As with all Crown Royals, Maeralya was expected to served in the armed forces before her ascension to the throne. She did so during the He'kir Rebellion in 323 B.C. She served with distinction, being credited with numerous awards and honors. She would lead numerous Amadorian Legions during the Amadorian Expansions in the early 700 B.Cs in an effort to unify the great peninsula. With the blessings of the Eternal Phoenix granted to her by her father, the king, Maeralya was able to decisively and brutally cut down countless enemy combatants. Though her service was only a few centuries long, she would retire from active service in 654 A.D, officially stepping in to her role as Crown Princess until her ascension.
