Info

Marièla Jéane Monet-Estrada is an Inyurstan singer-songwriter. She became famous for her breakout single "Les Oyes D'un Angé" (The Eyes of an Angel); a song she wrote about early love and betrayal.

Monet was born in the mountain town of Veracourt in Central Marindino. She was raised by her mother and in part by her older brother, a subject she often sings about. Her career started working weekends singing at a local cantina before a mutual friend put her in contact with an independent recording firm. Interestingly enough, she lied about her age when applying for the singing gig as she was just 16 and the establishment required all employees to be 18.

Since becoming famous she has released several other hits, including the melodic latin dance ballad "Travo Espírite D'Oro" ([I] Have a Spirit of Gold), a contender for SACTOVision "Sêns Tomba" (Without [a] Grave) about the victims of the Solvereux regime, and an Inyurstan Language cover of Fade into You.
