Death & Legacy

Nicholaus VI, the current Consul, is named after Dimitrios.

Following his death, his younger brother Georgio III would inherit the Duchy of Patrinos along with it's titles and accounts. His body was never recovered from the Xuman Peninsula and instead an empty coffin was buried in his plot at the Blue Creek National Cemetery. His brother would go on to name a military hospital in Mondria after him, the Nicholaus V Military Hospital.

In 1955, Georgio's first-born son would be named directly after Dimitrios, Nicholaus VI.
