|The order was created in 1643 by Paul I the Reformer, who awarded it not long after to his trusted commander, Dicepherus Halikos. Halikos, a capable officer, had lead the way on reforms to strengthen the Telerian units and increase the effectiveness of the military exponentially. Originally, the order simply had two ranks but the others were added later on in the wake of the successful defenses of the region of Thrasios.
