Overview

The Parliament of the United Kingdom of Ahrana is the third ever Parliament to be created under the Ahranaian Imperial Throne, though unlike the decades of past Kings and Queens the the Parliament of the Second and Third Kingdoms respectively were politically free and independent from the Executive branch of Government.

The current structure of the Parliament of Ahrana is modeled after what is called in Ahranaian Politics the Gustov Parliament, which was created by Gustov X of the Imperial House of Chayka in the early days of the Second United Kingdom. The Parliament is divided up into two separate houses the Upper House being the Chamber of Deputies and the Lower House being the Assembly of Representatives. Each House has independence from one another and each House nominates a member of parliament to serve in the Offices of Chancellor and State Councilor which serve in the Executive Government.
