1772, not observed 1979-1987 Celebration of both the wedding of Johan I of Oanthan and Amka of Distan on 20 June 1743, which unified the two Charvillean royal dynasties, and the summer solstice. With the gay liberation scene in Charville emerging in the mid 20th century, Midsummer's Day was chosen as the date of the first Ekonsas Pride March (now the largest pride parade in Charville) in 1975, and has been held on the holiday ever year since.
