Pykyes Faith, also known as Pykyesm and Pykyesmith, encompasses a variety of traditions, beliefs and spiritual practices largely based on original teachings attributed to Pykyes (born Muahmat Guama in the 5th or 4th century BCE) and resulting interpreted philosophies. The goal of Pykyes Faith is to overcome suffering caused by desire, attachment to a static self, and ignorance of the true nature of reality. Most Pykyes Faith traditions emphasize transcending the individual self through the attainment of Hyjat or by following the path of Pykyeshood, ending the cycle of death and rebirth.
