After appearing in such a well known production at an early age Rachel took the decision to abandon the public school system all together instead chosing to be taught by a variety of private tutors which followed her across the country as she took on various roles in theatres across the country quickly gaining attention for her stage presence and show stealing vocals. In 1989 Rachel was offered a place in the Royal Academy of the Dramatic Arts however she refused instead focusing on her stage career later expanding into the musical business when she released her first studio album in early 1991 which aided by her already popular stage career quickly became popular in the country.

It was during this time that Rachel first became inspired to get active in the political arena. In late 1994 Rachel was taking part in a charity performance in Karlino Central Station when members of the Malgravean Peoples Party detonated several explosive devices in the station, the attack which killed then Prime Minister Alice Smith also heavily injured Rachel and shocked her into action, as an already active member of the Progressive-Unity Party and a well known person in the country Rachel stood for parliament in the Theatre District of Epping easily achieving victory against her opponents. Entering the political field meant that Rachel had limited time for her acting and singing career placing them on the back burner for the time being. Rachel quickly became known for her impassioned speeches in the House of Commons and in 2000 only a few years into her political career was officially announced as the Minister of Transport, a surprise considering the temporary responsibilities with making sure the countries transportation infrastructure could cope with the expected opening of the country to the international community, the extremely positive results shocked many fellow progressive and opposition politicians who had expected her to fail.

The stability of Rachel's life was to come to an end when in 2009 struck by a powerful terrorist attack and a large political scandal the then Prime Minister Nikola Tesla retired from politics shaking the foundations of the Progressive-Unity Party, more instability was to follow when instead of much favoured senior politicians Tesla favoured Rachel Berry and chose her to become Interim Prime Minister until elections were planned later that year a move which angered many politicians in the party which claimed that Rachel would lead the party into mediocrity and destruction. Instead Rachel started an extremely vibrant political campaign touring the entire country openly utilising her still high popularity as a performer and successful record as a local politician to her advantage she managed to retain the parliamentary majority of the Progressive-Unity Party.

Moving on from her surprising election victory Rachel moved quickly to implement policies stated during the election campaign most notably increasing the pace of opening Malgrave to the international community both joining the World Assembly and becoming an active observer in the [[Coalition of Ponyist States]]. Rachel also sought to complete the work she had been doing as Transport Minister on an entirely new level, preparing the entire economy for integration with the international community she implemented a mass financing of current state-owned companies in order to pay for expansion into international markets, as it was feared that companies like Royal Malgravean Airlines lacked the facilities and inventory to compete with International Airlines, such a stimulus has proven highly popular with Malgravean companies now actively competing in the world economy.

Rachel has been called consistently left-wing on both social and economic issues with her continued calls for what she calls '''fair''' tax on the wealthy and their high valued property. She also introduced what she calls the principle of '''total equality''' to the Progressive-Unity Party advocating equal marriage, adoption and other rights to all species in the country regardless of anything like sexuality and religion something which has gained her support among members of the Green and Socialist Party although made her lose backing of supporters in the Conservative Action Party

Rachel Berry (born August 29th, 1972) was the Prime Minister of Malgrave between 2009 and 2018

Early life and career

Rachel was born in the Epping, Malgrave, she is the only daughter of April Berry, a nurse and Illya Sascha, a railway designer, growing up in the cultural district of Epping she quickly became obsessed with the theatre. Joining the Stage Door theatre company she was quickly recognised for her talent her first credited appearance being the role of Young Cossette in 1981.

After appearing in such a well known production at an early age Rachel took the decision to tour the country to increase the number of acting and musical opportunities, although, such this meant that she enrolled at several school as she travelled, it also meant she took on various roles in theatres quickly gaining attention for her stage presence and show stealing vocals.

In late 1994 Rachel was taking part in a charity performance in Karlino Central Station when members of the Patriotic Front detonated several explosive devices in the station, the attack which killed then Prime Minister Alicja Kowalska also heavily injured Rachel and shocked her into action, as an already active member of the Progressive Unity Party and a well known person in the country Rachel stood for parliament in the cultural district of Epping easily achieving victory against her opponents.

Prime Minister

Moving on from her surprising election victory Rachel moved quickly to implement policies stated during the election campaign most notably increasing the pace of opening Malgrave to the international community both joining the World Assembly and becoming an active observer in the Coalition of Ponyist States. Rachel also sought to complete the work she had been doing as Transport Minister on an entirely new level, preparing the entire economy for integration with the international community she implemented a mass financing of current state-owned companies in order to pay for expansion into international markets, as it was feared that companies like MalAir lacked the facilities and inventory to compete with international airlines, such a stimulus has proven highly popular with Malgravean companies now actively competing in the world economy.

For the most part Rachel's tenure in power had been quite stable with limited engagements against insurgent groups in the country and growing relations with the international community most notably vast economic ties with Yohannes, this however changed when on April the 7th 2012 Rachel authorised Operation Tempest a military operation designed to completely dismantle the two largest insurgent groups in the country, the operation was successful with both the key leadership of the Malgravean People's Party and the New Malgravean Communist Party assassinated with lower to medium members of the organisation surrendering themselves in return for immunity from prosecution, the operation was not without controversy however with some criticizing the immunity deal and others claiming the successful operation has created an almost cult of personality around Rachel which she had furiously denied. Since then Rachel has also been incredibly aggressive in foreign affairs despite her parties non-interventionist stance, authorising Operation Infinite Reach an open military operation that authorises the Royal Malgravean Navy to engage military and merchant vessels belonging to known slaver regimes and Operation Open Hand an operation that was targeted specifically at Imeriata, giving her justification that combating slavery is relevant to the founding principles of the nation and it increases the reputation of the country in the international community.

Controversies

Opposition politicians and some political activist groups have claimed that a virtual cult of personality now surrounds the Prime Minister, openly calling several media outlets extremely biased in favour of the Prime Minister heavily promoting all her achievements while forgetting or misleading the public about her failures, they also point to the weekly events that take place in numerous stadiums across the country with events dramatising certain events of the Prime Minister's political and non-political life with some even claiming that the armed forces has been seen at some of these events either parading in support of the Prime Minister or performing fly-pasts. Activists have also highlighted the creation of several large political posters and art works that have been placed across the country which state that the Prime Minister is the only and only true leader of the country something which some have claimed to be close to dictatorial style propaganda. Rachel has denied that the government has had any involvement in this and instead claimed that the movement of the people to voluntarily put on such performances and posters show that she has the full support of the populace.

Several non-interventionist politicians have openly criticised the Prime Minister for authorising military action against known slaver states and for intervening in military operations something which she has responded against harshly stating that aggressive operations against the slave trade is something even non-interventionists should support and that sending small contingents to support allied humanitarian operations which have suffered greatly is an action which shall move the Malgravean nation further down the path to ascension.

It has also been claimed by members of the Malgravean Agricultural Coalition that Rachel ordered for unclothed members of the security services to heavily beat the organisations leader Andrew Fabray when he was leaving a political conference. A claim which she denies although she has been caught calling the people who perpetrated the act "non-criminals".

Personal life

Family and romance

Rachel Berry is currently in an established relationship with Quinn Fabray, the couple officially announcing the relationship in 2004 although the couple has confirmed that it started in 1992. According to the pair the two first met when the couple were visiting a cultural event in the countryside, Rachel visiting on behalf of her theatre production and Quinn visiting on behalf of the Malgravean Agricultural Coalition, initially the pair had quite an explosive relationship which was mostly caused by Quinn's extreme social conservative upbringing however the pair eventually connected and after a few months began dating something which both had admitted to being as a "long struggle", the final push came in 1994 when Rachel was heavily injured in the Karlino Station Bombing an act which caused the pair to move in together. Some predicted the relationship between the political pair would actually hinder the pair however they have used the publicity of their relationship to their advantage with many now expecting the pair to get married quite quickly.

Religion

Although Rachel still claims to be religiously active, she has rarely been sent visiting any synagogue in the country for several years although members of her friends and family have hinted that Rachel manages to visit synagogue without been spotted by members of the press this has not been officially confirmed. She has however been quoted several times supporting the country separation of religion and state in the country, saying that the views of the religious should not interfere with the views of the non-religious

Views

Rachel has been called consistently left-wing on both social and economic issues with her continued calls for what she calls fair tax on the wealthy and their high valued property. She also introduced what she calls the principle of total equality to the Progressive-Unity Party advocating equal marriage, adoption and other rights to all species in the country regardless of anything like sexuality and religion something which has gained her support among members of the Green and Socialist Party although made her lose backing of supporters in the Conservative Action Party
