An Army officer, an Air Cavalry officer and a Naval officer are discussing good chess moves. The Air Cavalry officer recommends promoting pawns into Queens, the Army officer recommends sacrificing a lot of pieces till so long as you capture the opposing player's king... And the Naval officer recommends sacrificing the King.
