The Empire of Ebethia (or just Ebethia) is a Country in the Western Hemisphere of Laurelia. The Empire lies in the Central Eastern Region of the continent Halaria. The Empire is most well known for its Naval Presence in the vast Laurelian Seas. The Empires Navy is unmatched by any other having taken on the full force if other nations grand fleets and coming out victorious, the nations Navy power is its pride and glory. Ebethia is also however known widely around the world for its civilised behaviours and luxurious life style of its higher class population however the lower born men women and children are not so pandered to and are in fact struggling everyday to feed and care for each other. Murder, rape and robbery happen on a daily basis in the streets across the Empire and these heinous crimes are not getting any fewer nor any less brutal. There are two sides to the countries people and both have their dirty details and gruesome gores.

History

The Empire has had an astonishingly chaotic and enthralling history spanning over centuries and centuries of battles and diplomacy all changing the course of the Empires path in another direction and leading it to where it currently is today.

The Beginning

The Empire of Ebethia formed in the year 1643 (not too long ago) however has been through many different states and forms throughout the last four or five centuries. The original form of the Empire is interpreted in many different ways however most men in these times believe that it was first settled by scavengers and raiders from the northern regions of Halaria who decided the land nearby was fertile and the weather was nice enough to stay in the land that they had taken for good. After a few decades of breeding and further development of their stolen land, the natives that they had slaughtered banded together in an attempt to retake their homes and get vengeance on the northerners. The battles lasted for months on end, the slaughter didn't seem to stop until finally the Northern Chief and the Native Leader got together to arrange a treaty in which they split the land up and both men shook on the agreement and all seemed well for the next few years and peace shone throughout the land.

This peace did not last all too long however as just a few years into this peace, a Northerner had decided that the region in which they had settled in shouldn't have to be shared between two peoples and instead the Northern settlers should take back the lands in which they had conquered. This idea had captured the minds of many others in the area and in what seemed like an instant, a small army was marching towards the Native Tribes land in order to reconquer what was "rightfully theirs". The battle lasted only for a night and a few more hours as the Natives had been taken by suprise and were slaughtered in their sleep. The northerners quickly integrated their people and culture into the new lands and soon the idea of the settlers naming their peoples and land became the interest of the Chief as he declared their people and lands as Ebethia.
