On average since 1995, around 1.3 million tourists visit Ellese every year. Tourism in Ellese is both of the natural and cultural forms. A majority of tourists come from Russia, with the United States and the United Kingdom being the other countries from which the most tourists come. It is the fifth largest sector of the economy, and contributes on average 1.4 million dollars (US) to the economy.

The main tourist attractions in Ellese are the capital city of Torsvilo and Mount Elbrus National Park. The smaller cities of Reprotops, Villaniher, and Seghrem, each with a population of about a million, and a number of resort towns on the Black Sea coast, are also popular tourist destinations.

Torsvilo is divided into three main area of interest: the new city, built mostly in the late 20th century for a variety of purposes, and including a variety of monuments, parks, libraries and museums. It showcases the distinctly Ellesean style of architecture and design.
