The Union of the Three Nations (Amathian: Ⱆⱀⰹⱆⱀⰵⰰ ⰽⰵⰾⱁⱃ Ⱅⱃⰵⰹ Ⱀⰰⱌⰹⱆⱀⰹ, tr. The 15th century found the region of Amathia struggling to break free from the iron fist of the now weakened Rhakhataa.

Nomenclature

The official name of the state was the Union of the Kingdom of Argetia, the Archduchy of Soria and the League of Preida (Amathian: Ⱆⱀⰹⱆⱀⰵⰰ Ⰰⱃⱈⰹⰴⱆⰽⰰⱅⱆⰾⱆⰹ Ⱄⱁⱃⰹⰵⰹ ⰰ Ⰲⱁⰹⰵⰲⱁⰴⰰⱅⱆⰾⱆⰹ Ⱁⰴⱃⰹⱄⰹⰵⰹ ⱎⰹ ⰰ Ⰾⰹⰳⰹⰹ Ⱂⱃⰵⰹⰴⰵⰹ, Uniunea Arhiducatului Soriei, a Voievodatului Odrisiei și a Ligii Preidei, Solarian: Ⱆⱀⰹⱁ Ⰰⱃⱌⱍⰹⰴⱆⱌⰰⱅⱆⱄ Ⱄⱁⱃⰹⰰⰵ ⰵⱅ Ⱂⱃⰹⱀⱌⰹⱂⰰⱅⱆⱄ Ⱁⰴⱃⰹⱄⰹⰰⰵ Ⰾⰹⰳⰰⱄⱑⱆⰵ Ⱂⱃⰵⰹⰴⰰⰵ, Unio Archiducati Soriae et Principalitatis Odrisiae et Liga Preidae), with the Solarian name being normally used in international relations and in diplomacy. Colloquially, it was also known as the Brotherly Union (Amathian: Ⱆⱀⰹⱆⱀⰵⰰ Ⱇⱃⱐⱌⰵⰰⱄⰽⱐ, Uniunea Frățească, Solarian: Ⱇⱃⰰⱅⰵⱃⱀⰰ Ⱆⱀⰹⱁ, Fraterna Unio). Foreigners generally called it the Amathian Union (Amathian: Ⱆⱀⰹⱆⱀⰵⰰ Ⰰⰿⰰⰸⰹⰰⱀⱐ, Uniunea Amathiană) or simply Amathia. In most historical sources it is referred to as the the Union of the Three Nations (Amathian: Ⱆⱀⰹⱆⱀⰵⰰ ⰽⰵⰾⱁⱃ Ⱅⱃⰵⰹ Ⱀⰰⱌⰹⱆⱀⰹ, Uniunea celor Trei Națiuni, Solarian: Ⱆⱀⰹⱁ Ⱅⱃⰹⱆⰿ Ⱀⰰⱅⰹⱁⱀⱆⰿ, Unio Trium Nationum).

Notes

1.^ In the past, Solarian was written by the Amathians using both the Apsinthian and the Solarian alphabets.
