The '''Ayar Congress''' is a supranational regional organization in western [[Ajax#Ochran|Ochran]] comprising the four nations of the historical region of [[Ayarna]]. Founded in 19XX, the Congress brings together the nations of [[Asazeh]], [[Ganzak]], [[Dzhuvenestan]] and [[Shirazam]] in the spirit of shared culture, regional cooperation and diplomatic discussion on regional issues. The Congress also serves as the supervising power of numerous sub-organizations, such as the International Ayar Games Committee (IAGC), which is responsible for organizing the eponymous [[Ayar Games]].

The Ayar Games, sometimes referred to as the Ayarniad, are a series of international games put on by the Ayar Congress' International Ayar Games Committee.


The Games began as an exhibition of ethnic sports, but have since broadened to feature other international sports. The current roster of sports at the Ayar Games include:
* Polo (''{{wp|chovgan|Showkan}}'' rules)
* Chess
* Mancala
* Freestyle wrestling

* {{wp|Olympic weightlifting|Weightlifting}}
The Games occur every 2 years and the host city is typically determined via a bidding process. A city (or that city's national government) may, however, bow out after receiving the honor of hosting the Games, at which point the IAGC is empowered to select a new host city via a consultative process.
