Vũ Văn Hoàn Nương (15 August 1974) is a vice president and incumbent chief technology officer at Amica.ai.
Early life
Nương was born in Ðà Yên to a middle-class family. Her father, Vũ Thân Quốc Hoàng was an opthamologist, and her mother, Vũ Mộng Thu, an herbalist. She has one older brother and one younger sister: Tùng Linh and Bích Ngân.
When she was 11, Nương was introduced to the CQEM PC bought by her father. She grew fond of the computer, and read its instruction manual in her free time. Later on, Nương graduated from the University of Bạch Đặng at Phú Túc with a B.E. in computer engineering, and later obtained an M.S. in computer science at the Kontin Institute of Technology.
Career
In 1996, Nương worked at CQEM as a hardware developer, and became project leader in 2005.
In 2009, she moved to Amica.ai (known at the time as Amica Energy) to work as a project manager. In 2012, she was promoted to Director of Technology as Tăng Ngọc Hiển reorganized the company. In her interview with Entrepôt Weekly, Nương expressed that she was "lucky to be kept in the company team" and was thankful of Hiển for doing so.
In February 2019, Nương was appointed chief technology officer after serving as Vice President of Engineering since 2016 to replace Đỗ Vương Gia with his reassignment to the Board of Directors. She was involved in the development of the Amica AI Data Vision and Ex Machina software. She also supported the employment of Amica Tuệ, the company's VTuber mascot.
Personal life
Nương is currently married to Nguyễn Hồng Giang, a science fiction author, and has two children with him, one son and one daughter.
In her free time, she plays video games, and is known to be a fan of the Deadly Leaves Project. She still possesses her family's CQEM PC, and the Priestess Khuê cartridges, and would allocate some of her free time to play it; Nương conveys to this day that it is still her favorite game franchise.
