Venland, officially the Republic of Venland (Vennish: Vensk Edfellesskap) or VE is a unitary semi-presidential socialist constitutional republic. Venland's government and economy are highly centralized with its capital in Burggen, the nation's largest city and main cultural and commercial centre. Etymology and pronunciation
There are various theories as to the origin of the name Venland, historians and linguists have largely come to the conclusion that the name denoted to the elves who made up a vast majority of the population of the lands. As such the name referred to as the "Elvenlands" or simply "Venland."
