Verdusia

Verdusia, officialy the republic of Verdusia ( Verdusian : Repubbliken Verdusia ) is a parliamentary repulbic located in the continent of Thismari who border with Foxomexra to the south, Aquaria to the East and with Glakhakistania to the North. The capital of Verdusia is Uppsala and the country has got a population of 56 980 204 inhabitants.

First Years of the Nation and Kingdom of Vidoria

The First years of the nation started in 1614, when the representatives of 9 principalities met in Fargutsta the 23 december 1614 to unite in a single confederation. the deals continued until 1620, when Vidoria, the the 4th biggest principality of the confederation, assumed the power of the confederation, creating the kingdom of Vidoria in 1620. The new kingdom started to modernize the country, moderninzing the economy, creating new cities, like Fredericia, Gavle, Hedemora and Arika, and creating an efficient burocracy. But vidoria was an autocratic absolute totalitarian monarchy, who repressed all dissent and dissidents, creating discontent and suffer.

First Verdusian Revolution and the born of the Kingdom of Verdusia

in 1756 a group of bourgeois, tired of the Vidorian Assolutism and desiderous of indipendence, leaded by the local governor Cristoph Gluck, began to organize the revolution to gain indipendence. after one year, in 1757, the organization was complete, and the morning of the 2 june 1757 the verdusian militias occupied the entire territory of Verdusia, declaring the indipendence of Verdusia. after a series between the verdusian militias and the vidorian army the verdusian forces defeated the vidorian forces in the battle of Helba ( 23 june/7 august 1760 ), the verdusian militias entered in the vidorian territory. The Verdusian Army started to push back the Vidorian Army from the eastern part of the country, and staritng to occupy the western part of the country. after the sieges of Magadan, Magden, Lesina and Fredericia, the verdusian armies encircled the vidorian forces in various cities; after the fall of every city-fortress, the 2nd Verdusian Army leaded by the general Gyorg Hasken encircled Ragusa, the capital of Vidoria. and after the Fall of Ragusa Vidoria signed the armistice with Verdusia. So Verdusia annexed Vidoria. After the victory the major part of the population wanted to enstablish the republic, but Frederik II, prince of the principality of Verdusia, taked the power and enstablished the kingdom of Verdusia.

Kingdom of Verdusia

After the power outlet of Frederik II, he established the kingdom of Verdusia, but under a popular monarchy, instead of an absolute monarchy. During the period 1760-1800, the kingdom make many changes, modernized the agriculture and supported Foxomexra against Hereali in the Hereali Wars, because Hereali had a territory of Verdusia, started to build a national industry and modernized the armed forces. The monarchy improved the life of the population, but in the period 1800-1850 the monarchy became more and more authoritarian and made many people unhappy, resulting in the creation of the republic after the liberal revolution of 1850.

The Liberal Revolution and the creation of the First Republic of Verdusia

In 1847 the bourgeoisie started to organize a plan to overthrow the monarchy, after three years of organization, in 1850, the people rose up against the monarchy, and after 3 month of war the monarchists were defeated and the royal family fled away from the country. after the victory the liberals established the parliamentary republic; the first representative minister of Verdusia was Nikol Zlobadan, a liberalist, and the minister of the republic was Anna Kestan, the first woman to hold a government post. So the 14 jenuary 1850 born the First Republic of Verdusia

First Republic of Verdusia and Nationalist Coup D'Etat

the new government started to liberalize the economy and built many infrastructures, like bridges, roads, industries ecc ecc. the people was happy for the new republic, who liberated the people from the authoritarism. In 1853, when the upprisings in the near Foxomexra turned in a civil war, on one side the republic of Ardgan, on the other side the Foxomexran Empire, Verdusia decided to support Ardgan and sent 70 000 soldiers to help the Ardganian Revolutionaries. In 1854 Verdusia decided to intervene directly and invaded the Foxomexran Empire. In 1856 Ardgan conquered the entire Foxomexran Empire and finally the peace was restored. during the period 1860-1875 the verdusian economy prospered thanks to the treaty of Fredericia of the 1862 between Verdusia and Foxomexra, who encouaged the economic growth. in 1869 born the nationalist party, who winned the elections of the 1875, and transform the republic in a dictatorial nationalist republic

Military

The Ministry of the Defense runs the Verdusian Armed Forces, which consists of 800,000 active personnel and 1.1 million reserve personnel. Verdusian Armed Forces are small, but very well equipped and trained. Veteran of the first and second Verdusian-Foxomexran wars, the Verdusian Armed Forces are trained in blitzkrieg and in air support, the Attack and defense capacities have been enhanced by military Robotics Research. The military recruitment sistem is very efficient, when the country is attcked from a enemy, the armed forces mobilize the entire active personnel and the half of the reserve personnel.

Politics

The legislative branch of the Verdusian government is broken into two chambers; the chamber of commons (or lower house) and the chamber of representatives (or high chamber). The executive power is of the presidency of the republic, while the judiciary power is in the hands of the Supreme Justice Court of Grace and Justice

In 1869 Born the nationalist party. in 1920 born the Democratic Party, who unite with the Liberal Party in 1926, creating the Demo-Liberal Party. , in 1956 the scissions in the nationalist party createdthe populist party, from the scism between the nationalist party. In 1960 the Syndicalist Party. in 2021 born two parties, the Radical Party and the Bourgeois Republican Party, also in 2021 born the Farmer-Laburist Party and the Dixie Party

The Constitution

The Constitution of Verdusia born in 1847, when the liberals overthrew the kingdom of Verdusia. the new provisorial government, headed by the representative minister Nikol Zlobadan, asked to a group of liberal parliamentarians to draft a new constitution for the country, after 3 years of work, the 12 september 1850, the new constitution was finally published. Royalty

The royal family of Verdusia were overthrown in the 1850 revoloution. But the history of the royal family resales to the 1760, when Wilhelm I, prince of the principality of Verdusia, assumed the control of the Kingdom of Verdusia. The dinasty of the Zoelrn, the royal dinasty, ruled the country to the 1850
