Worldvision Song Contest 86 is the 86th edition of annually held Worldvision Song Contest, which is a Song Competition with competitors from around the world. The contest was held in Oreo City, Antahbrantahstan.
Bidding Process
This edition, only two countries bid for hosting rights. Antahbrantahstan returns after bidding back in Worldvision Song Contest 83 opting to host it in their capital city of Oreo City, and Caryton returns as well after some failed attempts on hosting the competition including on the same edition as the Anturian bid. The bid was won by Antahbrantahstan after a voting process. The low count of bidders was due to other countries focusing on bidding for the membership of the Worldvision Committee, which is a five member committee that oversee every Worldvision competitions.

According to their bid package, Oreo City is a city that can be described as a skillful mixture of traditional and modernity. Oreo City would certainly not disappoint you, with a plethora of culinary delights, ranging from traditional comforting Indonesian-style cuisine, to extravagant Western and Oriental haute cuisine, to a more relaxed and laid-back coffeeshop establishments, will satisfy even the most picky eaters visiting us! For your entertainment, the city is full of colourful sights and landmarks, whether you simply want to appreciate fine arts in our finest museums and theatres, or go on a shopping spree in traditional markets or luxurious shopping malls, to a melange of waterparks, theme parks and escape rooms for the thrill-seekers, and in order to help delegations and tourist move between your place of residence to all that kinds of places, we have a variety of transportation method available, such as taxis and subways, to ridesharing motorcycles (which is an integral part in the country).
The Anturians has decided to hold WorldVision 86 in the amazing Mountbatten Arena, the venue has been proposed in the WorldVision 70 candidacy bid, however, the venue has underwent renovations in order to give the audience maximum comfort when entering the venue. there are a significant amount of toilets located across the venue, a variety of food trucks and stalls were provided outside and inside the venue. The venue was disinfected and sanitized before and after rehearsals, and before the finale starts.
