Zenio Rhodia Periclon (July 12, 1588 AR - ) is a Khijovian navigator and explorer, and former second lieutenant on board of the Arcadia from 1597 to 1612 AR. He is currently stationed in Dzeia as a Dzeologist.
Early Life
Infancy and Chlidhood
The last born in a humble family of eight in the small town of Pronia in Garganthia, Zenio was the son of the craftsman Mahrdio Periclon and the carer Kleria Kamorian, and had as brothers Casio and Mitron and as sisters Breria, Nothye and Kramzia. Zenio remained five months after his birth the only son still alive, as the two older brothers, while they were migrating to Kleitore in search of job opportunities, had died in an aethermotive crash above the Kharpovian hills. The father, in order to commission a worthy burial for his children, spent a fortune resulting in the family being soon hit by a financial crisis and being full of debts. At the age of only three, his mother died of typhus and the minor sibling died right in her womb, further afflicting the already depressed father who for months did not want to work due to the pain. Given the monetary deficiencies, Zenio was unable to go to kindergarten and therefore spent his early childhood playing and snooping around the low-order streets of northern Pronia, sometimes gathering in the square to listen to the stories of wayfarers or old people. Meanwhile, in order to help their father, the three older sisters had turned to prostitution in nearby Axiomia using the excuse of working as maids, and would send amounts of money home every month. Thanks to his sisters' money, Zenio was able to afford to go to elementary school for five years and there he developed a passion for literature and writing.
