His Royal Imperial Majesty Emperor Johannes Christoph Karl (English: Johnathan Christopher Charles), often abbreviated as "JC" and officially recognized as "Seine Königliche Kaiserliche Majestät Kaiser Johannes Christoph Karl V, is the sitting Emperor of The Empire of Common Territories, the High Kingdom of New Celisia, and all realms under both nations' banners. Johannes served briefly as Crown-Prince before succeeding his late father, Jurgen Friedhold Karl or "Charles II" in 2008, becoming one of the youngest Imperial rulers at the age of seventeen. Serving as Board Member to a number of major corporations, Johannes has become one of the wealthiest individuals within the Empire (not counting the assets controlled within the Royal and Imperial Treasuries) using personal investments into companies such as Wolf Armaments to amass signifigant amounts of wealth. Although the Emperor personally abstains from holding membership in political parties, Johannes has demonstrated his support for a number of far-right to central-right parties whom make up the Imperial Prerogative Coalition.

Johannes was born in 1991 to an average Commoner mother whom Karl II fell in love with years prior. At the time, then Prince Johannes was celebrated as Karl II's thirteenth child by the people and resented as a mixed-blood by the higher echelons of society.

Early Life

A popular story from the Imperial Couple was their drawn-out debate on the young Prince's name. Caroline Sonnen, Johannes' mother, desired a name similar to her father's (Christoph) while the late Emperor Jurgen wished to retain Imperial traditional norms with naming their child. In the end the two settled with Caroline having the second given name, Jurgen the first given name, and the last name retained to the House's name; thus Johannes would retain all Royal/Imperial traditional naming structures and Caroline would have her father's name passed down as Christopher.
