Deutsch: Das Jagdschloss bzw. die Präsidentenvilla in Mürzsteg, ein Ortsteil der steiermärkischen Marktgemeinde Neuberg an der Mürz. Das am Hang des Lanauberges zweigeschossiges, stark gegliedertes Gebäude wurde ursprünglich 1869 als kleines Jagdhaus für Kaiser Franz Josef errichtet und mehrfach um- bzw. ausgebaut (zuletzt 1903). Nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg wurde das Jagdschloss dem Kriegsgeschädigtenfonds übertragen, obwohl es nie Staatsbesitz sondern habsburgisches Privateigentum war. 1921 wurde das Schloss für öffentliche Besichtigungen freigegeben. Um den Nahrungsmittelmangel unmittelbar nach dem Ersten, aber auch nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg zu lindern, wurde damals der Park der örtlichen Bevölkerung zum Gemüseanbau zur Verfügung gestellt. Einzelne Zimmer des Schlosses wurden an Feriengäste vermietet. In Jänner 1938 erfolgte die Restitution an Otto Habsburg, jedoch wurde es von den Nationalsozialisten wieder beschlagnahmt und dient seit 1947 als Sommersitz der österreichischen Bundespräsidenten. |
