Avenida Juárez, a la entrada del Casino de la Laguna, Torreón, Coahuila.

En la fecha mencionada las fuerzas revolucionarias que apoyaban a Francisco I. Madero entraron a la ciudad de Torreón, dándose al saqueo y a diversos desmanes, entre estos perpetraron una cruel matanza de por lo menos 300 personas de orígen chino. La mayor parte de estas muertes tuvieron lugar alrededor de la Plaza de Armas. Esta drámatica foto atestigua ese hecho.

Avenida Juarez, the entrance to the Casino de la Laguna, Torreón, Coahuila.

At that date the revolutionary forces supporting Francisco I. Madero entered the city of Torreón, turning to plunder and various abuses, including those perpetrated a cruel killing at least 300 people of Chinese origin. Most of these deaths occurred around the Plaza de Armas. This dramatic photo attests to that fact.
