Summary

Description Photo of the then new Rock Island Rocket. The train was identified by its consist-the name Dream Lake on the 32 seat Baggage-dinette-coach #402 was part of the Rock Island Rocket's consist. The locomotive is an EMD TA type.
Date The photo was used in the news story attached to the photo's back but no one stamped it with a "used" date. These trains Rock Island Rockets (1937) were new in 1937 and the news story says the trainset was on an exhibition tour, so 1937.
