Glóavið

Glóavið is the oldest of the enclaves and one of the more magical inclined areas within Sprite territory. Glóavið is made up of two islands major and minor the highest number of Imbued and Greater Sprites live here. Both islands were formed by volcanic activity initiated at an undersea magma source three of these volcanoes are active, two are dormant, and more than thirty-nine are extinct . Two of these active are located on major with the other off the Western cost of minor. Most of the other known volcanoes are part of a underwater mountain chain heading southwest. Glóavið Minor is also home to the Mana Springs located near its center. The Mana Springs is a highly enriched crystalline mineral water coming from the planets mantle. This maybe the reason for the greater numbers of Imbued Sprites in the Glóavið area. Glóavið Major is the much more developed of the two islands boasting much of its population and infrastructure. Major also has some forms of tourism for Sprites and other races. Minor on the other hand has a larger military presents there in a form of a airbase and several research laboratories. About a third of its landmass is left undeveloped. Port Affine is the main settlement on Glóavið major.
