Hódítók family
The Hódítók people (Imperial Standard Pronounciation) are an ethnic group indigeneous to the Imperial South within The Empire. They are considered to be the fifth of the Seven Races of the Empire, and are represented within the Imperial pantheon as the Apostle Asma, the Apostle of War and Conquest. The most notable and official representative in the Imperial Diet of the Hódítók is the Hegyhat people, who have historically subjugated many of the Hódítók people during the Proto-Imperial Era under the Hegyhat Empire. The Hódítók are very sparse outside of the Imperial South, but have been known to inhabit Szeged and Koszeg in the Imperial West. As of the end of the Hódítók Disunity and the beginning of the Southern Crisis, Hódítók people have recently been fleeing in large numbers towards Kossuth and Asotthalom in the Imperial Central.
For most of history, the Hódítók people have lived under the thumb of the Hegyhat people, who have historically ruled the Imperial South as a matriarchy under the Hegyhat Empire. Hegyhát matriarchy is a social and coterminus political system that defines politics and cultural climate within the Imperial South. Due to this matriarchy, some tribes have become extinct or male-only due to the often genocidal policies of the Hegyhát. During the Proto-Imperial Era, the Hódítók would later gain notoriety for their brutal expansionism, which peaked at the Third Hegyhat War. Hódítók, especially Hegyhát and Kaposvar people have historically been portrayed as warmongers and barbaric, but also as skilled and dangerous warriors.
