The Mádoban Defense Forces (Madorian: Fuerzas de Defensa de Mádoba) are the armed forces of the Republic of Mádoba and Cuellòn. It comprises the Mádoban Army and Home Guard, Mádoban Air Force, Mádoban Navy.

The President of Mádoba is the commander-in-chief of the Defense Forces, advised by the Minister of National Defense, who oversees the armed forces, and the Chief of the Defense Staff as their head.

Structure

Ministry of National Defense

The Ministry of National Defense is responsible for the civilian oversight of the Defense Forces responsible for defending Mádoba against external military threats. Additionally, the Ministry of National Defense is responsible for the supervision of state-owned military-industrial enterprises and military procurement. Stefán Valladares is the current Minister of National Defense, holding office from January 12, 2021.

Chief of the Defense Staff

The Chief of the Defense Staff is the most senior officer of the Mádoban Defense Forces and jointly with the Minister of National Defense, the highest ranked and executive head of the Defense Forces. He or she is responsible for advising the Mádoban President and the Minister of National Defence on security matters and informing them of the military's overall needs. This post is the military equivalent of the Ministry of National Defense and is in charge of overseeing personnel management, equipment acquisition and strategic planning.

Admiral Carlos Belvega serves as the current Chief of the Defense Staff since January 12, 2016.
