Sanctus Stella is the gravitationally bound planetary system of Sanctus Stella A and the objects that orbit it. It was formed 5.913 billion years ago when a dense region of molecular cloud collapsed, forming Sanctus Stella A and a protoplanetary disk. In the following millions of years, Sanctus Stella B1 and B2 formed; the original is off in the distance, while the new stars orbit each other with an elliptical orbit.
