Wealhmær VII (Wealhmær Alvin Luther; 16 January 1946 – 12 July 2001) was King of the Æthics from 6 June 1978 until his death on 12 July 2001. Known as "Wellie" among his family and close friends until his coronation, Wealhmær VII was born in the reign of his father Nicholas XII. As the first son of King Nicholas XII, who had been increasingly unpopular, he attended the Edmond University of Letters & Science in his university years. He married Raine of Sydalon in 1969 and they had two sons, Kenneth and Malcom, and one daughter, Nora. Kenneth died unexpectedly at the age of 9 in 1979, an event which plagued much of Wealhmær's later life.

During Wealhmær's reign, he championed democratic and social reforms, which inadvertently restored the Monarchy's influence as a political institution in the country. The House of Delegates reinstated powers of the monarch taken away during Nicholas XII. Though Wealhmær was regarded as an increasingly popular King, he smoked and drank heavily in much of his later life due to the grief of losing his oldest son. He died in 2001 of a stroke and succeeded by his elder son, Malcom IV.
