Whitecastle (/ˈwʌɪtkɑːsəl/ WYTE-kah-səl, /wʌɪtkæsəl/ WYTE-kass-əl), officially the City of the Whitecastle upon the Armstrong (French: Ville de la Châteaublanc sur la Manier) and sometimes referred to by the French-language name Châteaublanc, is the capital city of Insulamia. It is a federal territory that is ceremonially partitioned between the three provinces of Auria, Henria, and Septentria. The Armstrong River that runs through the city serves as the border between Henria and Auria, as well as a major trade route for the area. Whitecastle is located in the Valley of Melodies in the Central Mountains and is mostly surrounded by boreal forest of the Tripoint Federal Natury. As of 2020, the city has a population of 315,343.
